Originating from California, DJ Ausar moved to Atlanta and emerged to be an impressive tastemaker as a DJ on 89.3WRFG FM. He formed the The Kalakuta Show as a vehicle for social movement in today’s music by blending Afro-beat, Funk, Jazz, Rare Grooves, House and Broken beats from all over the world.
As a member of the DJ/Producer crew Vinyl Junkies Click (VJC Recordings) he has spun from the West to the East coast spreading his sound excursions to the masses. DJ Ausar has spun alongside the likes of The Last Poets, Hugh Masakela, Fertile Ground, Dj Spinna, Dego of 4hero, KemeticJust & Dj Kemit, Tony Humphries, Karl Injex (Rude Movements), Ezel, Simbad, Eddy meets Yannah, Jeremy Ayro Ellis, Djinji Brown, Carlos Mena, John Arnold, Omar, Rich Medina, Roy Ayers, and Daz-I-Kue of Bugz in the Attic.
